Daily, Non-Stop Service LAX to Sonoma County March 20th

Horizon Air Connects Major Markets to Wine Country, Spas, Recreation & Scenic Beauty

(November 3, 2006, Sonoma County, Calif.) Beginning March 20, 2007, visitors to Sonoma County from Los Angeles and Seattle can get to Wine Country quickly, conveniently and comfortably via Horizon Air.

Daily, non-stop flights from Southern California and Seattle/Tacoma will bring passengers to the Charles M. Schulz Sonoma County Airport (STS) in Santa Rosa, Calif., 50 minutes north of San Francisco.

With the new direct service, visitors can immediately enjoy America's premier wine, spa and coastal destination. The schedule will include two, daily non-stop flights from LAX and one from Seattle into Santa Rosa; and from Santa Rosa, two daily non-stops to LAX and one to Seattle. Seasonal promotional fares are $99 one-way from LAX and $149 from Seattle.*

Flight time from Southern California is just 1 hour, 45 minutes and from Seattle just 2 hours, 15 minutes. Horizon Air's flights will be operated with 76-seat Q400s. The aircraft features spacious leather seats on the aisle or with a window view in a two-by-two configuration, eliminating the middle seat.

In addition to favorable fares, Horizon Air's Sonoma County service will provide all passengers business class amenities with larger airline seats, complimentary snacks, Starbucks coffee, wine and microbrews. Sonoma County vintages will also be available for in-bound guests.

The airport in Santa Rosa is named for Charles M. Schulz, the creator of Snoopy and the Peanuts comic strip. Schulz lived in Sonoma County and a museum in Santa Rosa now features displays of his life and work.
